The Magic melted down in Orlando last night as they blew a 27-point lead to lose again to the Celtics.  The Magic only shot 38% from the floor and they were outscored 54-25 in the second half last night, which helps explain the loss.  Dwight Howard led the way for the Magic with 16 points, 16 rebounds and 1 blocked shot last night.  Jason Richardson (13 points and 3 steals), Ryan Anderson (12 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot), Jameer Nelson (11 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal) and Hedo Turkoglu (10 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals) also pitched in for the Magic.  The Magic are now 12-6 on the year.

The Magic played solid D last night as they held the Pacers to 39.7% shooting from the floor and that was the big reason for the win.  Ryan Anderson led the way for the Magic in this game with 24 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.  J.J. Redick (15 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) and Dwight Howard (14 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot) also had solid games for the Magic last night.  Glen Davis (13 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots) and Hedo Turkoglu (11 points, 2 rebounds, 8 assists and 1 steal) also pitched in last night.  The Magic are now 12-5 on the year.

The Orlando Magic were outscored 51-20 in the second half on Monday Night in Boston!  They shot 24.6% from the floor and no one on the team shot higher than 40% in this game.  Dwight Howard led the way for the Magic in this game with 18 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot despite only shooting 4 of 15 from the floor.  Hedo Turkoglu pitched in with 7 points and 3 rebounds in this game.  Glen “Big Baby” Davis had 6 points, 11 rebounds and 1 blocked shot in 24 minutes off the bench, but he only shot 2 of 9 from the floor.  The Magic are now 11-5 on the year.

The Magic outrebounded the Lakers 51-42 and they also shut them down, holding them to 38.2% shooting from the floor last Friday.  Dwight Howard led the way for the Magic in this game with 21 points, 23 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot.  Jameer Nelson (17 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assists and 1 steal), J.J. Redick (15 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists) and Ryan Anderson (13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals) also had solid games for the Magic.  Jason Richardson pitched in with 12 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in this game.  The Magic are now 11-4 on the year.

The Orlando Magic outrebounded the Spurs 60-41 last Wednesday Night, but, they only shot 33.3% from the floor and it did them in.  Dwight Howard was amazing as he led the way for the Magic in this game with 24 points, 25 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocked shots.  Ryan Anderson also had a very solid game with 17 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.  Von Wafer (15 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 steal in 22 minutes) and J.J. Redick (13 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist) also pitched in for the Magic in this game.  The Magic are now 10-4 on the year.

The Magic outscored the Bobcats 29-22 in the 4th quarter last Tuesday to finally put away the pesky visitors.  Dwight Howard led the way for the Magic in this game with 25 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 4 blocked shots.  Jameer Nelson did a solid job of running the offense as he finished up with 17 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists.  Hedo Turkoglu (15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals), Ryan Anderson (13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals) and Von Wafer (13 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot in 24 minutes off the bench also pitched in for the Magic in this game.  The Magic are now 10-3 on the year.

The Magic outscored the Knicks 29-18 in the 4th quarter to surge to a nice road win earlier today at Madison Square Garden.  The Magic shot 50.7% from the floor and they outrebounded the Knicks 41-34 today.  Ryan Anderson led the way for the Magic today with 30 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist as he nailed 7 of 13 shots from three point range.  J.J. Redick (21 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist in 37 minutes) and Hedo Turkoglu (15 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) also had very solid games today.  Glen “Big Baby” Davis pitched in with 12 points and 6 rebounds in 20 minutes off the bench.  The Magic are now 9-3 on the year.

The Magic shot 51.5% from the floor but they still had to outscore the Warriors 37-27 in the 4th quarter to prevail.  Dwight Howard set an NBA record with 39 free throw attempts last night, of which, he made 21 of them.  He finished up with 45 points, 23 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocked shots in this game!  Hedo Turkoglu also had a very solid game with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 9 assists in this game.  J.J. Redick (13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists) and Ryan Anderson (10 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist) also pitched in for the Magic in this game.  The Magic are now 8-3 on the year.

The Magic shot 58.6% from the floor last night and they outrebounded the Blazers 42-32, which helped them win this tough road game.  The Magic got a “team win” last night as they had five players score at least 15 points in this game and seven scored in double figures.  J.J. Redick (17 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists), Hedo Turkoglu (16 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal), Ryan Anderson (16 points, 9 rebound, 1 assist and 1 steal) and Jameer Nelson (16 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal) led the way for the Magic last night.  Jason Richardson (15 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist), Dwight Howard (13 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists) and Glen Davis (11 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist in 24 minutes) also pitched in for the Magic.  The Magic are now 7-3 on the year.

22-year old power forward Justin Harper has not had much of a chance to show what he can do.  He has played in 3 games (0 starts) for the Magic so far this year and he has played six minutes in which has has recorded 1 assist.  The Magic have a lot of depth in the frontcourt and they are all about playing the veterans in an attempt to get Dwight Howard to change his mind and stay around a few more years.  With that in mind, don’t look for Harper to get much P.T. this year unless the Magic suffer a lot of injuries along the frontline.
