The Orlando Magic are right up against the salary cap right now so don’t expect any big time free agents coming to central Florida this summer. The Magic likely have Vince Carter, Marcin Gortat and Brandon Bass on the trading block heading into this summer. The Magic apparently have some interest in bringing back Hedo Turkoglu in 2010-11. It would be interesting to see if Vince Carter and Hedo Turkoglu could be used in the same trade two years in a row. The Mavericks really wanted Marcin Gortat so maybe something could be worked out with them. I just see the Magic signing spare parts in free agency. They might go bargain shopping for a small forward if they whiff trying to trade for one. They could bring back Matt Barnes or take a chance on a player like Quentin Richardson, Josh Howard, Travis Outlaw or Hakim Warrick.
