The Magic shot 50.6% from the floor last night and they outrebounded the Knicks 47-37 which were big reasons for the win. Rashard Lewis led the way for the Magic last night with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist. Dwight Howard stuffed the stat sheet against the Knicks with 24 points, 16 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. Vince Carter pitched in with 23 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists last night. The Magic are now 14-4 on the season.

The Magic shot 50.6% from the floor last night and it helped them win the game. Dwight Howard was a beast for the Magic with 25 points, 20 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocked shots. Vince Carter was also very solid last night with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Rashard Lewis pitched in with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots last night. The Magic are now 13-4 on the year.

Orlando Magic 93, Atlanta Hawks 76

The Magic dominated the Hawks last night in Atlanta sending them a message that they might not be ready for prime time quite yet. The Magic outrebounded the Hawks 53-41 last night and they also held the Hawks to 38.8% shooting from the floor which were two big reasons for the win last night. The Magic came out for the second half of this game breathing fire as they outscored the Hawks 54-25. Dwight Howard led the way for the Magic with 22 points, 17 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 blocked shots. Vince Carter also had a solid game with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Anthony Johnson pitched in off the bench with 17 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists in only 21 minutes off the bench. The Magic are now 12-4 on the year.

Miami Heat 99, Orlando Magic 98

The Magic were outscored 33-27 in the 4th quarter last night and it did them in. Jason Williams had his best game in years as he led the way for the Magic with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists in 39 minutes. Vince Carter pitched in with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists last night. Dwight Howard was tough as usual around the basket with 12 points, 16 rebounds and 3 steals. The Magic are now 11-4 on the year.

The Magic outscored the Raptors 28-20 in the 4th quarter yesterday and that got them a nice road win. Vince Carter led the way for the Magic yesterday with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. J.J. Redick was outstanding off the bench with 19 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists. Dwight Howard was really tough around the basket with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists. The Magic are now 11-3 on the year.

The Magic turned up the D in Boston last night holding the Celtics to 34.5% shooting from the floor and it was a big reason for the win. Vince Carter led the way for the Magic last night with 26 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 blocked shots. Rashard Lewis also had a good game with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Mickael Pietrus pitched in with 14 points in 30 minutes last night. The Magic are now 10-3 on the year after this very nice win last night.

The Magic were up 88-58 after three quarters before coasting to a very easy win last night. Vince Carter led the way for the Magic last night with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in only 27 minutes on the court. Rashard Lewis had a monster game in only his second start of the year with 17 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals. Mickael Pietrus pitched in with 14 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists last night. The Magic are now 9-3 on the year.

The Orlando Magic lose Jameer Nelson for a while

The Magic will be without Jameer Nelson for the next 4-6 weeks due to arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. Nelson has played in 11 games (all starts) for the Magic this season and he is averaging 29.6 minutes, 13.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Veteran Jason Williams will replace Nelson in the starting lineup while he is out of action. Williams has played in 11 games (0 starts) this season for the Magic and he is averaging 18.4 minutes, 5.4 points, 1.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. This hurts the Magic as they are at their best with Nelson running the offense, but, Williams will likely do a decent job while he is out of action.

Vince Carter pitched in with 15 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists last night. Dwight Howard was solid as usual with 14 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots last night. The Magic are now 8-3 on the year.

Matt Barnes is off to a solid start for the Orlando Magic

Matt Barnes is playing very well for the Magic so far this season. He has played in 10 games (7 starts) in which he is averaging 30.9 minutes, 10.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game. Barnes gives the Magic another good athlete to play either small forward or shooting guard giving them a lot of depth.
