Carlos Arroyo leaves the Orlando Magic
Backup point guard Carlos Arroyo has left the Orlando Magic to sign with a team in Israel. Arroyo played in 62 games (20 starts) last season for the Magic and he averaged 20.5 minutes, 6.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. The Magic will likely depend on Anthony Johnson to replace Arroyo and there could be a slight dropoff in production. Arroyo played three seasons for the Magic covering 161 games (27 starts) in which he averaged 19.7 minutes, 7.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. Arroyo will make more money in Israel and he will likely get to show what he can do with big minutes overseas.
