Brian Cook has played in three games this month and he’s been truly awful. This month Cook is only averaging 7.3 minutes per game and he’s averaging 2.0 points and 1.0 rebound per game. Cook is only shooting 22.2% from the floor this month and he will stay nailed to the bench until he improves his shooting which is his best skill on the basketball court.

The Orlando Magic have gotten an outstanding effort out of Keith Bogans in December. In 4 games this month Bogans is averaging 34.8 minutes, 14.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game. If Bogans keeps up this level of play the Magic are going to be a really hard team for the opposition to deal with.

The forwards have been excellent for the Orlando Magic this season

Blogged under Bloglockers, Steppin Up, Front Page by alleyoop on Wednesday 5 December 2007 at 10:15 am

The Magic are getting outstanding play from their forwards so far this season. Rashard Lewis was a fantastic signing for the Magic as his shooting has helped open the paint for Dwight Howard to dominate. Lewis has played in 19 games this season and he’s averaging 39.2 minutes, 19.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game. He also has nailed 51 three pointers this season. Hedo Turkoglu is playing the best basketball of his NBA career right now. He has played in 19 games this season and he’s averaged 36.8 minutes, 18.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. Turkoglu also has been outstanding beyond the three point arc as he has nailed 41. As long as these two guys keep shooting like this, Dwight Howard will face less double teams than usual and that will make the Magic offense continue to purr like a well oiled machine.
