Dwight Howard is the man that makes it all go as he’s one of the most dominating centers in the entire NBA and he improves his game every year….so look out NBA! He played in 82 games (all starts) last season for the Magic and he averaged 36.9 minutes, 17.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.9 blocked shots per game. His only flaw is his free throw shooting (58.6%) and that could be a problem in the playoffs as the Magic are confident that they will make a deep run. Rashard Lewis was signed as a free agent and he will start at power forward for the Magic this season. He played in 60 games (all starts) last season for the Sonics and he averaged 39.2 minutes, 22.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game. Hedo Turkoglu will be the starting small forward and he’s a very skilled offensive player. Turkoglu played in 73 games (all starts) last season for the Magic and he averaged 31.0 minutes, 13.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. Jameer Nelson will run the point again for the Magic and they need him to pass the ball more. Nelson played in 77 games (all starts) last season for the Magic and he averaged 30.3 minutes, 13.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. Keith Bogans won the starting shooting guard spot on the Magic and that came as a small surprise. He played in 59 games (18 starts) last season for the Magic and he averaged 16.8 minutes, 5.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game.
