The Magic is fading lately
The Magic haven’t played well lately as they’ve lost 7 of their last 10 games to fall to 23-21 on the season and 3.5 games behind the Wizards in the Southeast Division. Can’t blame Dwight Howard for the team’s fade as of late as he’s averaging 17.1 points and 12.3 rebounds per game this season. The Magic really need to keep Grant Hill healthy because he’s the second best player on the Magic. He’s averaging 15.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game this season. Jameer Nelson is not a pure point guard as he would rather shoot first. He’s averaging 13.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. He will need to either shoot better or pass more to get the Magic to the playoffs. Hedo Turkoglu has been a little disappointing averaging 11.6 points and 3.5 rebounds this season, and he’s also missed alot of games due to a mysterious flu-like sickness. The Magic need him to regain his form because they need more offense from him. The Magic have been getting good production out of the power forward position when you combine Darko Milicic and Tony Battie’s stats as they average 12.8 points and 10.1 rebounds between them. With Trevor Ariza (8.6 points, 4.5 rebounds) out for awhile, the Magic need someone else to step up off the bench and help the offense. Keyon Dooling (8.8 points), Keith Bogans and Travis Diener will try to fill that void.
